Rachel is a leader whose strengths lie in organizing complex content, creating and executing plans, and solving problems. She has additional skill sets in proposal management, editing, design, and video editing. In a previous life, she worked as a news producer for several TV stations on the East Coast. Rachel has degrees in multimedia journalism and professional writing from Virginia Tech. She has also achieved foundation certification in bid and proposal management, as recognized by the Association of Proposal Management Professionals (APMP). She’s currently serving on the APMP International Board of Directors.

Rachel joined Dragonfly in 2020. She currently leads our marketing strategy, nurtures client relationships, and represents us at conferences. Rachel loves working at Dragonfly because of our values, which emanate from every aspect of what we do: being kind to one another; promoting diversity, equity, and inclusion; and helping others so they don’t have to work long hours away from their loved ones. The cherry on top of it all is Dragonfly’s status as a small, woman-owned business!

In her free time, Rachel enjoys participating in book clubs, serving her community, and playing with her two kitties. She’s passionate about reading sci-fi novels, exercising, and watching Bob’s Burgers.
