Taleiah has over a decade of editorial experience. She has a mind for systems and processes, and loves problem-solving.

Taleiah attended the University of California, Davis. She studied English (with an emphasis on creative writing) and Spanish. After graduating, she attended Emerson College. She received her master of arts in publishing and writing and studied copyediting, with a focus on The Chicago Manual of Style. She also helped edit the college’s literary magazine, Redivider, and started freelancing, copyediting puzzle books for Kidsbooks. As an intern at the Pohly Company, she edited and fact-checked content for a variety of magazines.

Taleiah first gained project management experience while working as a production coordinator for educational publishing company diacriTech, where she managed projects for clients such as Pearson, McGraw Hill, and Wolters Kluwer. She spent 10 years as an editor for market research firm IBISWorld/ProcurementIQ. While there, she worked her way up from copyediting to managing the editorial team.

Taleiah loves words and editing. She has worked on a wide variety of projects, including memoirs, novels, and nonfiction works on religion and health.

When off the clock, Taleiah is usually editing, reading (especially fantasy), watching something random on Netflix, or spending time with friends.
