Dragonfly Editorial Is Hiring a Bookkeeper

Dragonfly Editorial is a creative agency that helps companies around the world with copywriting, editing, and design.

We’re looking for a full-time bookkeeper, in a hybrid role: part remote, part onsite at our office in Tipp City, Ohio, just north of Dayton. This could be a 40-hour or 30-hour position, depending on what works best for your lifestyle.

Our bookkeeper will work closely with our CFO and management team to ensure that day-to-day financial operations run smoothly. You’ll be responsible for recording all day-to-day financial transactions of the company accurately. You’ll process AP and AR, and you’ll run payroll for our employees and contractors. You’ll balance our books, posting journal entries, managing our bank and general ledger reconciliations, and performing month-end closings. You’ll also work closely with our CFO to create and analyze financial reports to help management understand our business’s health and profitably.

Our ideal candidate has:

  • Successful experience in similar roles
  • Proficiency in Quickbooks Online, Microsoft Excel, and other relevant software
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

At Dragonfly, it’s important for us to create an exceptional workplace for our employees.

Our benefits include:

  • Health insurance for you and your family
  • Paid parental leave
  • 401(k) plan with prompt vesting
  • Generous paid time off
  • Highly flexible work schedule
  • Access to ongoing continuing education and career development opportunities

Our benefits also include working in an environment where you’re valued as a person, where DEI is part of the fabric of our culture, where kindness is more important than cutting a deal, and respect is paramount.
